Placing of shares


REI announces that its broker, Seymour Pierce Ellis Limited, yesterday placed a
total of 6,000,000 new ordinary shares, at 10p per share, with institutional and
other investors, raising £600,000 before costs. The funds will be used for 
working capital purposes.


Application has been made for these new shares (which will rank pari passu with
the Company's existing issued ordinary shares) to be admitted to trading on AIM
and this is expected to take place on 11 July 2005.
