Transaction in own shares

REA announces that, pursuant to  the authority granted at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on 11 June 2013, it purchased (through Mirabaud Securities LLP) its ordinary shares of 25p each as follows:

on 2 December 2013, 215 ordinary shares of 25p at 440p each

on 28 November 2013, 431 ordinary shares of 25p at 440p each

between 13 and 15 November, 481 ordinary shares of 25p, the highest and lowest price for these shares being 433.25p and 428p respectively. 

The purchased shares are held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase of such shares, REA holds 1,127 ordinary shares in Treasury and has 35,084,142 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
