REA announces that it has today received notification in accordance with the
requirements of Rule 3.1.2R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the
Financial Services Authority that on 11 October 2007, Mr R M Robinow (the
chairman of REA) and persons connected with him (as detailed below) sold the
numbers of 9 per cent cumulative preference shares of REA shown below at a price
of 107p per share:
