- Notification of Voting Rights and Capital - Update 4

Consequent upon the admission to trading of New Rank Shares, which will commence
on 26 March 2007, the Issued Share Capital of The Rank Group Plc will be
390,509,640 Ordinary 13 8/9p Shares with voting rights.

No shares are held in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Rank Group Plc with effect
from 26 March 2007 is 390,509,640.

From that date, the above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, The Rank Group Plc under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
