                               Notice of results

The Rank Group Plc today announces that it is moving to early adoption of the EU
Transparency Directive and that it will therefore issue its first Interim
Management Statement on 16 October 2007. The Interim Management Statement will
cover trading for the first 41 weeks of the 2007 financial year.

In addition, Rank intends to release its regular pre-close trading update during
December 2007.
