Rambler Starts its Underground Drill Program

20 November 2007 Rambler Starts its Underground Drill Program London, England & Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador - Rambler Metals and Mining plc (TSXV: RAB, AIM: RMM) is pleased to announce that its underground drill delineation program has commenced. The majority of the targets for this program have been designed to test the Footwall Zone and provide the necessary information for Rambler to begin its NI43-101 resource calculation during Q2, 2008. Drill stations for the footwall program will begin on the 1020 level. The first drill station is planned on the 740 level and will target a historic diamond drill hole that returned 0.9 oz/ton gold over 7 feet. Since little is known about the structure hosting this anomalous gold, a number of new drill holes are planned to tests its extents. The 20,000 metre underground drill program was awarded to a local company, Barker's Construction Ltd. Surface Drill Results Rambler is also pleased to provide an update on some of its recent footwall drilling on the property. These drill holes tested the edge of the footwall zone and are key when determining the deposits plunge direction as newer holes target deeper portions of the mineralization. Hole Description RM07-08g Western Extent of Footwall Zone RM07-08h Eastern Extent of Footwall Zone For more information and a complete listing of all RMM drill intersections, corresponding maps, figures and NI43-101 compliance information please visit our website at www.ramblermines.com. Dewatering and Underground Delineation Program Dewatering of the old mine continues and to date 115 million US gallons of water have been pumped and processed by the water treatment plant. Ground conditions in the mine remain good with few delays as the water levels drop. We are currently nearing the 1200 level where we'll have first access to the shaft from underground. George Ogilvie, Vice President and COO stated: "We are extremely pleased with our progress over the last year and the achievement of key milestones. The commencement of the underground delineation drilling program is yet another milestone that will provide frequent information in 2008 allowing us to complete our first NI43-101 geological resource in a timely manner."
