Rambler Appoints Pilgrim as Chief Geologist and Announces Commencement of Scoping Study

LONDON, ENGLAND AND BAIE VERTE, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwire - Oct. 22, 2007) - Rambler
Metals and Mining PLC (TSX VENTURE:RAB)(AIM:RMM) is pleased to announce that Larry Pilgram, P.Geo has
joined Rambler as its Chief Geologist. Mr. Pilgrim has an exploration and production mine geology
background having worked extensively over the last 25 years in eastern Canada with companies that
include Richmont Mines Inc. and more recently Commander Resources Limited. During this time period Mr.
Pilgrim has also operated and managed his own exploration company.

Rambler is also pleased to announce that SRK Consulting have been contracted to produce a scoping
level report evaluating the potential of the Ming Mine ore zones. This report will form the basis of
the NI 43-101 pre-feasibility report due to commence Q2, 2008.
