                        Rambler's Underground Footwall Program Drills 11.7 Metres of 2.25% Copper

London, England & Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador - Rambler Metals and Mining plc (TSXV: RAB, AIM: RMM) is pleased to announce drill intersections from its ongoing lower footwall delineation program.

*       RMUG08-19 returned 4.05 meters of 2.97% copper
*       RMUG08-20 returned 4.40 metres of 2.15% copper
*       RMUG08-21 returned 6.00 metres of 2.46% copper
*       RMUG08-24 returned 4.00 metres of 1.81% copper
*       RMUG08-28 returned 3.10 metres of 1.81% copper
*       RMUG08-30 returned 11.70 metres of 2.25% copper

Lower Footwall Stringer Zone (LFZ)

The  underground  footwall delineation program is progressing well and at the time of this release 7475  metres  of  the 20,000  metre  program have been drilled.  Drill Bays on the 740, 1020, 1130, 1200, 1400 and 1500 levels  are  completed with  additional  bays  cut and ready for setup on the 1600, 1700, and 1800 levels.  The program  so  far  has  returned encouraging results and there appears to be a higher grade section of 2% copper or better within the overall mineralized envelope. This higher grade section will allow the scoping study to evaluate the entire lower footwall  zone  under  a range of commodity prices and potential mining scenarios.  Further 3D geologic modeling of both the mineralized zone and the cross cutting mafic intrusives will aid this evaluation.

All  of  these new drill results as well as the 3D modeling will be incorporated into Rambler's first NI43-101  resource estimate  to  be  published in April 2008.  The qualified resource estimate will complement the  ongoing  scoping  level report  which is evaluating the economics of mining the lower footwall stringer zone, upper footwall stringer  zone  and massive sulphide horizons.

"The  Rambler  Metals  and  Mining exploration team are pleased with the results of the  Underground  footwall  stringer delineation  drilling program to date.  The 2% copper section we are seeing in most holes is certainly  encouraging  and with further 3D modeling we are hoping to connect this zone over the entire plunge length of the footwall zone.

"A  portion of the underground drilling program is targeting the previously reported gold zone; however with the current drill program size it is difficult to drill all targets expediently.  To overcome this issue we are considering adding a second, smaller, underground drill.  This new drill will have the capability of testing the gold zone as well as testing any high grade pillars left behind from previous mining activities."

Drill  intercepts  quoted are core lengths; true widths for the footwall zone are estimated to be  90%  to  95%  of  the intersected  core  lengths.   Analytical  results for Rambler core in this press  release  were  determined  at  Eastern Analytical,  Springdale,  NL.  Samples are then shipped by courier to Activation Laboratories  Ltd.,  Ancaster  Ontario, where a 34 element ICP analysis and gold fire assay are performed.
