Directors' Notification of Dealing in Shares

The Quarto Group Inc ('the Company')

The Company were informed on 11th May 2000 that on that date Mr G L Collins, a
non executive director, sold and then repurchased 107,650 common stock USD0.10
shares in the Company at a sale and repurchase price of 135p per share.  As a
result of this transaction the registered holder of these shares has changed
from Sinjul Nominees to Sunpen Nominees.  G L Collins's beneficial interest
remains unchanged at 337,650 shares representing 1.8% of the issued share
capital.

The Company were also informed on 11th May 2000 that Mr T Hancock, a director,
transferred 5,000 common stock USD0.10 shares to his wife Mrs N J Hancock.  As
a result of this transaction Mr Hancock's beneficial interest remains
unchanged at 10,000 shares representing 0.05% of the issued share capital.
