QINETIQ GROUP PLC ANNOUNCEMENT OF S.198 NOTIFICATION

QinetiQ Group plc (the 'Company') announces that:

1. It received notification on 15 February 2006 from the persons named below
that pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985:

(i) on 15 February 2006 such persons had disposed of the following number of
ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company (the 'Ordinary Shares'):
