                         Board Changes
                               
Mr J R L Lee, the senior non-executive director of Paterson
Zochonis plc, will be retiring from the board on 31 December
2000 after eleven years with the company.

Mr R H Sellers, will be appointed a non-executive director of
Paterson Zochonis plc on 1 January 2001.  Rod Sellers, a
chartered accountant, spent 26 years with British Vita plc as
Finance Director, Chief Executive from 1990 and Deputy
Chairman for 12 months before leaving in mid 1997.  He has a
strong interest in the development of the North West economy
and is on a number of influential local committees.
