Proton Power introduces the new PM400 hydrogen fuel cell stack generation

After a three year development period, Proton Power is pleased to announce that it has released the new high power fuel cell stack generation PM400 with 30kW of net power.

The PM400 is enlarging the fuel cell stack portfolio of Proton Power in a higher power range. The new stack allows significant reductions in cost per kilowatt. The stack is designed for applications in all 3 target market segments of Proton Power:

Mobile applications (buses and light duty vehicles)

Maritime applications (tourist, ferry boats and auxiliary power supply)

Stationary applications (UPS and smart grit applications).

Dr. Francoise Faiz Nahab, Managing Director of Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH, said:

"We will further develop our business in high power applications. The new PM400 fuel cell stack generation is the next step in that direction. We are pleased about the excellent performance of the PM400. The new stack will help to bring down production cost. Our know-how in the design and manufacture of the fuel cell stack gives us a competitive advantage and the ability to optimize solutions for our customers."
