The Company was notified on 28 January 2004 by Fidelity Investments that FMR
Corp. as the parent and holding company of Fidelity Management & Research
Company ('FMRCO'), Fidelity Management Trust Company ('FMTC'), Fidelity
International Limited ('FIL') and Fidelity Investment Services Ltd. ('FISL') has
a non-beneficial interest in a total of 6,621,302 ordinary shares of 1p each
('Ordinary Shares'), representing approximately 5.49 per cent. of the Company's
issued Ordinary Share capital.

Edward C. Johnson III also has a notifiable interest by virtue of his
shareholding in FMR Corp. and FIL.
