Premier Management Holdings PLC 29 April 2002 PREMIER MANAGEMENT HOLDINGS PLC EGM STATEMENT Premier Management Holdings PLC is pleased to announce that the acquisition of Mark Curtis's Sports Player Management Limited and related matters were approved by shareholders at the Company's EGM today. This acquisition will continue Premier's progress following its three earlier successful acquisitions and strong organic growth The purchase of SPM, which will be completed tomorrow, will be a major addition to Premier's portfolio of players and contacts within football. Addressing the EGM, Premier's Chairman, Stuart Lucas, said: 'We have already seen benefits from our relationship with Mark and his team and I am sure the synergy between the two companies will provide mutual benefits that will be positive and advantageous to both parties. 'In the past few weeks Premier has continued to be active on several fronts but particularly in Hungary and Portugal. The Budapest office has already established a portfolio of players from that part of the world and completed seven transactions. In Portugal the Company's first major investment has come to fruition with Paulo Ferreira contracted to join FC Porto during this summer. The profit from this transaction will be included in the Company's interim results for the period ending 31 October, 2002. 'In the UK, Premier continues to sign quality young players. Recently these have included two from Liverpool FC, two from Portsmouth FC and one from both Stockport County FC and Brighton & Hove Albion FC. Whilst these are all teenagers the majority are already regulars in their Club's first team. Senior players have been signed, including the Nigerian International striker Peter Osazemwinde, who has a chance of playing in the World Cup this summer. 'In order to maintain the high level of service to client players, Premier has increased and strengthened its team with the recruitment of Peter Swan, who recently brought his long playing career to an end, and who brings his extensive football contacts and wealth of experience and knowledge to the Company. 'Premier will continue to seek earnings enhancing acquisitions, targeting companies with quality players. Either one man agencies, joining Premier on a success related payment basis, or larger businesses, joining on terms on terms an a similar basis to those agreed with SPM.'
