Directors Shareholding

The Company received notification yesterday that Stuart Lucas, a director of the
Company, purchased 75,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company at a
price of 21p per share on 30 April 2002.  Mr Lucas currently has a  beneficial
interest in 1,505,000 ordinary shares of the Company representing 6.16 per cent
of the issued share capital of that class.  Both this purchase and the purchase
of 25,000 ordinary shares reported yesterday, were purchased for Mr Lucas' Self
Invested Personal Pension.
