Update - Evaluation of Further Investments

The Board of Stellar Resources (AIM: STG) the AIM natural resources focussed investment company states that, in line with its investment policy, it is reviewing a number of potential investment opportunities, in particular in advanced high quality and near term coal opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

David Lenigas, Stellar's Chairman, commented:

"The board is considering a number of potential coal projects in the Asia Pacific region that are at an advanced stage of pre-production with a view to investing in a project or projects that are near to or in production."
