Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital

On 11 March 2005 the Company received notification by Axa Investment Managers UK Limited of 7 Newgate Street, London, 
EC1A 7NX that, as at, 9 March 2005 AXA S.A., 25 Avenue Matignon, 75008 Paris and its Group Companies were interested in 
29,148,517 ord GBP 0.01 shares. These shares are represented by a beneficial interest of 21,139,338 shares 
(representing 8.63% of the issued share capital) and a non-beneficial interest of 8,009,179 shares (representing 3.27% 
of the issued share capital). This notification of change is due to a decrease in the beneficial interest holding from 
12.51% to 11.9%. The shares were held as follows:
