On 22nd December 2005 the Company received notification by Citibank, N.A. London
Branch, Citigroup Centre, Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 5LB that, as
at, 21st December 2005 Standard Life Investments acquired 328,948 shares on
behalf of Standard Life Group and therefore had a notifiable interest (including
material and non-material interests) in 33,981,051 ordinary 1p shares in the
Company representing 13.876% of the issued share capital.

The 33,981,051 shares were registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees.
