Additional Listing - AMENDMENT

Pursuant to RNS Number: 5108C released on 20 August 2007 Premier Foods would
like to make the following amendment.  Under the Executive Share Option Scheme
the number of shares being applied for should have read 2,969,192.  The full
announcement, as amended, is as follows:

Premier Foods plc - Additional Listing

A block listing application has been made for 18,000,000 shares of 1 pence each
in the Company to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority
and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.  The shares will be issued fully
paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary
shares of the Company.

The shares will be issued pursuant to exercise of 'sharesave' options held under
the following long term incentive schemes:
