PowerHouse Signs a Strategic Distribution Agreement to Exploit

Opportunities in the Wastewater Sector

PowerHouse Energy Group plc (AIM: PHE), an alternative energy company specialising in the manufacture and sale of zero emission waste-to-energy equipment systems, announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, PowerHouse Energy Inc., has signed a strategic distribution agreement with M2 Renewables ("M2R"). The agreement enables PowerHouse to optimise its access to a niche sub-sector of wastewater and is for an anticipated requirement of ten waste to energy Pyromex reactor units, over the next three years.

The agreement grants M2R exclusive rights to distribute and sell the Pyromex AG Ultra High Temperature Gasifier (UHTG) for use in PowerHouse Energy Inc's wastewater market sector for applications of 50 ton/day or less. Following the execution of the agreement, M2R has submitted a deposit of $50,000 for the reservation of the first 5 tpd UHTG system to be manufactured by PowerHouse. M2R will market and sell 5 and 25 tpd, fully integrated systems which will include wastewater solids screening and de-watering, solids handling, drying, thermal conversion, syngas quench and cleanup, methanation and electrical generation.  

M2R completed two full rounds of wastewater solids testing in Munich during 2010, confirming the operational simplicity and effectiveness of the Pyromex reactor and defining performance characteristics, syngas quality and critical design parameters.
