PowerHouse signs Memorandum of Understanding with

process engineering firm, Simon Carves

PowerHouse Energy Group plc, (AIM: PHE) an alternative energy business specialising in the sale of waste to energy systems, announces the signing of a Memorandum Of Understanding ("MOU") with Simon Carves Engineering Ltd, ("SCEL") a Manchester-based process engineering & consulting firm.

The MOU signals the commencement of a strategic relationship between both parties from which PHE expects to benefit from SCEL's considerable expertise in technology delivery. It is expected that this relationship will propel PowerHouse further on its path to commercialising the Pyromex Ultra High Temperature Gasification (UHTG) technology around the world.

The agreement is a progressive step for SCEL into the waste-to-energy sector of the alternative energy market following its identification of PowerHouse's Pyromex UHTG systems as an industry leading gasification technology with a substantial global market opportunity. SCEL has been actively engaged within the renewable industry for many years, having successfully delivered first generation waste to energy facilities and represents an ideal engineering and technology partner for PowerHouse.

Ross Lyndon James, Executive Chairman of PowerHouse Energy plc, commented:

"Today's announcement is further evidence of the tipping point PowerHouse is experiencing in the transition from a pre-sales pipeline to actual sales. PowerHouse is pleased to be working with such an experienced engineering and technology partner who can assist in the exploitation of the sales pipeline. This MOU with Simon Carves is another important step in that transition."

Michael Robinson, General Manager of Simon Carves Engineering Ltd. stated:

"Simon Carves is delighted to become a part of this exciting new technology. Simon Carves has been actively engaged within the renewable industry for many years, having successfully delivered waste to energy facilities as well first generation fuel ethanol plants. As such, we are pleased to become the partner of choice by Powerhouse."
