                                 Trading Update


Porvair, the specialist filtration and environmental technologies group, today
issues a trading update for the year ended 30 November 2006.

The Company expects to meet market expectations for the year ended 30 November
2006. The Microfiltration business has traded strongly throughout the year and
the Metals Filtration business has recovered well in the second half of the
year.

The Company will be announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 30 
November 2006 on Tuesday, 30 January 2007.

An analyst briefing will be held at 10.00 am at Buchanan Communications, 45 
Moorfields, London, EC2Y 9AE on Tuesday, 30 
January 2007.
