                                 Trading Update


Porvair, the specialist filtration and environmental technologies group, today
issues a trading update for the six months ended 31 May 2007.

The Group is performing well and in line with management's expectations.
Following the successful completion of the restructuring of the Metals
Filtration division earlier this year, the division has shown good progress and
is trading well. The Microfiltration division has maintained its good
performance.

The Group will be announcing its preliminary results for the six months ended 
31 May 2007 on Tuesday, 26 June 2007.
