                   DIRECTOR'S SHARE DEALINGS

On 2 February 2000 William Wallis a Director of the Company, acquired 3,125
Ordinary Shares of 2p each in the Company ('ordinary shares') at a price of 210p
per ordinary share.

Following this transaction Mr Wallis' beneficial interest in the Company's
issued Ordinary Share Capital is 12,500 ordinary shares, which represents 0.049
per cent of the total issued share capital.
