                            Director's Share Dealing



The Company was notified today that on 11 October 2002, Mr. Michael Gatenby,
non-executive director of the Company, acquired 7,000 ordinary shares of 2p each
in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 86p per Ordinary Share.


Following this transaction Mr Gatenby's beneficial interest in the Company's
issued Ordinary Share capital has risen to 14,000 Ordinary Shares, which
represents 0.04 per cent. of the total issued ordinary share capital.
