PROPOSED BONUS ISSUE OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

The Board of Polar Capital Technology Trust plc is considering a bonus issue of subscription shares to shareholders in Q1 2011. The Board believes that over the longer term investment in the technology sector through the management of Polar Capital will deliver outperformance and that subscription shares represent an attractive option for shareholders to subscribe in the future for further ordinary shares in the company.
