                         Notice of Preliminary Results


Polar Capital Technology Trust plc, the specialist technology investment trust,
will announce preliminary results for the 12 months ended 30 April 2005 on
Tuesday, 14 June 2005.

A briefing by Brian Ashford-Russell, a director of the Trust and head of its
investment management team, for broking analysts will be held at 9.45 am for
10.00 am the offices of UBS Warburg, 1 Finsbury Avenue, London EC2M 2PP, on the
same day. A press lunch briefing will be held at the later time of 12.30 pm for
12.45 pm.
