ALLOTMENT AND LISTING OF SHARES

The Company has today allotted 19,195,659 ordinary shares at the fixed
subscription price of £1.00 per share. Following this exercise there are
134,238,821 ordinary shares in issue

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange plc and the UK Listing
Authority for the admission to the Official List of 19,195,659 ordinary shares
of 25p each. These shares will rank pari passu, with the existing ordinary
shares in issue.

It is expected that dealings will commence at 8am on 7 October 2005
