Board Changes


The Board of Polar Capital Technology Trust Plc is pleased to announce the
appointment today of David Gamble as a director.  Mr Gamble is Chief Executive
of British Airways Pension Investment Management Ltd.

Mr Gamble is also a director of Foreign & Colonial Emerging Markets Investment
Trust PLC, Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC, and Property Income and
Growth Fund Limited. Mr Gamble was a director of Group Trust PLC between
November 1997 and June 2001.

There are no matters requiring disclosure under FSA listing rule 6.F.2.(b) 
to (g).
