   Transactions in a close period statement re compliance with the Model Code

In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 15.5.1(4) Polar Capital
Technology Trust ('the Company') announces that it is satisfied that all inside
information which the Directors and the Company had in periods leading up to an
announcement of results has previously been notified to a RIS and accordingly
the Company need not comply with the close period provisions of the Model Code
in relation to the Company's shares during the period prior to the announcement
of its results for the financial year ended 30 April 2008.


The close period commenced on 01 May and is expected to end with the publication
of the preliminary year results on 12 June 2008.
