Polar Capital Technology Trust Plc announced earlier today that the issued share capital of Polar Capital Technology Trust Plc as at 31 August 2008 consists of 131,941,914 ordinary shares with voting rights. No shares are held in Treasury.  Therefore the total number of voting rights in Polar Capital Technology Trust is 131,941,914. 

The correct number of shares in issue should have been 131,741,914 with no shares held in Treasury.  Therefore the total number of voting rights in Polar Capital Technology Trust is 131,741,914. 

The above figure of 131,741,914 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Polar Capital Technology Trust Plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
