Polar Capital Technology Trust plc

Polar Capital Technology Trust plc announces that application has been made to
the London Stock Exchange plc and UK Listing Authority for the admission to the
Official List of 1,178,126 ordinary shares of 25p each. These shares, which rank
pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue, have been allotted
following the exercise of the Company's warrants.

Following the exercise of the warrants the number of ordinary share in issue is
150,178,288 and the number of warrants in issue is 22,662,533.

It is expected that admission will be granted on 8 October 2003 and dealings
will commence on 9 October 2003.
