Polar Capital Holdings plc ('Polar Capital' or the 'Company')


Additional Listing


Application has been made for the admission of an additional 80,000 shares of
2.5p each in the capital of Polar Capital to trading on AIM. The shares will be
issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing
issued Ordinary Shares of the Company. These shares are being allotted in
connection with the exercise of the options under the Company's employee option
scheme. It is expected that admission of the new shares will become effective on
18 December 2007.
