In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1R Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust Plc today announces that all inside information which the Directors and the Company had in periods leading up to an announcement of results has previously been notified to a RIS.  Accordingly the Company need not comply with the provisions of the close period provisions of the Model Code in relation to the Company's ordinary and subscription shares during the period to the announcement of the year end results.

The close period commenced on 3 October 2011 and is expected to end with the publication of the year end results on 9 December 2011.
