Allotment of Shares

8 January 2014

The Company announces the allotment of 400,000 ordinary shares of 5p each fully paid under its block listing facility. These shares were issued for cash on 8 January 2014 at a price of 105.35p per share. The new shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company. The number of ordinary shares in issue is now 167,150,000.

The above figure (167,150,000) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
