Plus500 becomes member of Futures Industry Association (FIA) as US business expands

Plus500, a global multi-asset fintech group operating proprietary technology-based trading platforms, is pleased to announce that its US business has joined the Futures Industry Association (FIA) in the US, becoming a primary member of the world's leading global trade organisation for the futures options and centrally cleared derivatives markets.

The FIA's membership includes clearing firms, exchanges, clearing houses, trading firms and commodities specialists from more than 48 countries as well as other professionals serving the industry.

Since entering the US market in 2021 with the acquisition of Cunningham Commodities LLC, Plus500 has established a strong and growing position in the futures market in the US, supported by the Group's best-in-class technology and its robust financial position.

The futures and options on futures market in the US represents a major multi-year growth opportunity for Plus500 and the Group has already made significant progress in developing its B2B and B2C offerings. Demonstrating the increasingly diversified nature of its model and operational capabilities, the Group is now a leading provider of B2B market infrastructure services for institutional clients in the US futures market, supporting them with brokerage-execution and clearing services, further enhanced by Plus500's status as a full Clearing Firm Member of the CME Group and the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX).

In addition, Plus500 recently launched 'Plus500 Futures', a new and intuitive trading platform, specifically designed and tailored for retail customers looking to trade US futures. The Group's successful partnership with the Chicago Bulls, the iconic NBA team, continues to increase brand awareness and visibility.

Plus500 uniquely offers US customers a fully holistic solution of onboarding, depositing and trading in futures, having successfully leveraged its best-in-class technology and expertise to build an end-to-end, one-stop shop that caters for all the needs of US retail investors in accessing new trading opportunities in futures.

David Zruia, Plus500 Chief Executive Officer, commented: "We are delighted to have become a member of the FIA, further demonstrating the Group's continued execution against our strategic roadmap in the US. Our membership of this highly respected, leading global organisation represents another milestone for Plus500 as we harness our differentiated technological capabilities to seize the compelling growth opportunities in the US futures market."
