MIDROOG LTD, AN AFFILIATE OF MOODY'S,

UPDATES CREDIT RATING FOR PLAZA CENTERS' NOTES

Plaza Centers N.V. ("Plaza" or the "Company"), a leading emerging markets property developer, today announces that Midroog Ltd. ("Midroog"), the Israeli credit rating agency and affiliate of Moody's Investors Service, has updated the rating of Plaza's two Israeli listed series of Notes to "B1" with a negative outlook on a local Israeli scale. At the Company's request Midroog will discontinue the rating of Plaza's series of Notes.
