Playtech Announces Italian Poker Agreement with Snai S.r.l

Playtech (AIM: PTEC), the international designer, developer and licensor of software to the online and land based gaming industry, is pleased to announce poker agreement with Snai, Italy's leading land based operator, Playtech's first Italian licensee on Playtech's Italian poker network.

Under the terms of the license agreement, Playtech provides Snai with its entire portfolio of market leading poker games in tournament form. At present, the software is downloadable in a 'play for fun' mode, which provides players with the opportunity to improve their strategies and hone their skills for free. A 'play for real money'' mode iintended for launch in Q4 2008.

Both parties are wholly committed to meeting all the Italian regulatory standards. The product has been designed specifically to appeal to Italian players and customised to meet all the functional requirements of the local market, including matching language and currency.

The product has been fully integrated with Snai's online betting system to ensure a seamless gaming experience for the Italian player.
