Playtech announces licence agreement with Betfair

Playtech (AIM: PTEC), the leading international designer, developer and licensor of software to the online and land-based gaming industry, is pleased to announce that it has established a major new licence agreement with Betfair,  the world's leading online betting exchange, to provide a range of its online products and services.

Under the terms of the license agreement, Betfair will benefit from a range of software services provided by Playtech, including its leading casino offering, and bingo software via the Betfair TV platform. Betfair is already established as a significant online gaming operator having created a multi-million Euro revenue business that stretches around the globe.

Playtech will become the exclusive software provider for Betfair's new download casino product expanding the gaming options available to Betfair's customers via a solution fully integrated with Betfair' betting exchange.
