Playtech plc today announces that Paul Hewitt has given notice of his intention to step down from his role as Non-Executive Director from 1 August 2018, following three years with the Company, and will be joining Provident Financial plc as a Non-Executive Director from 31 July 2018.

Paul will stand down as chair of the Board's Risk & Compliance Committee on the same date. Independent Non-Executive Director Claire Milne will become Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee following Paul's departure.

Alan Jackson, Playtech plc's Chairman, said:
