Betclic Everest Group launches its Everest and Betclic poker brands with Playtech

Playtech, (LSE: PTEC) the international designer, developer, licensor and provider of software and services for the online, mobile and land-based gaming industry announces the launch of Betclic Everest Group's Betclic and Everest poker products in France and international markets on ipoker.fr and ipoker.com respectively. A solution for Everest casino brands is scheduled to launch in early 2013. As part of the launch all Betclic and Everest poker players in France were migrated to Playtech iPoker.fr network and all other players were migrated to iPoker.com.

Betclic Everest Group, one of the leading sports betting and online gaming groups in Europe, will now offer Everest and Betclic poker players access to Playtech's industry leading poker solutions. The players will also have access to Playtech's poker and casino product enhancements and innovations, improving the functionality and player experience on the existing platform.

Everest and Betclic poker in France continue to share their liquidity pool and at the same time have improved on the current rake structure to further benefit their French poker players. In other European markets, the improved liquidity provided by Playtech's iPoker network will significantly enhance the player experience.

Mor Weizer, Chief Executive of Playtech commented:

"It is a testament to Playtech's market leading position and innovation that a renowned brand such as Betclic Everest Group has joined our iPoker network and liquidity pool. Playtech is committed to regulated markets and the launch demonstrates its unique position and ability to establish itself as the leading supplier in all regulated markets."

"France remains an important market for Playtech and the combination of Betclic Everest's leading position and our advanced technology together with significantly enlarged liquidity pools will lead to material benefits for Playtech and Betclic Everest. Outside of France, the launch of Betclic and Everest poker on ipoker.com further strengthens the network's liquidity and cements its position as the natural choice for leading poker brands."

"We anticipate that the enlarged liquidity pools on iPoker.fr and iPoker.com will attract further brands to the growing stable of well-established operators and contribute to our future success."

Ignacio Martos, CEO of Betclic Everest Group, added:

"We are pleased to offer the best of breed technology to our poker players. Larger liquidity and state of the art features will give our players a superior experience, in line with our strategy of offering nothing but the best to our community of players. Playtech offers a market leading range of products including a world class Casino, which Everest will be taking full advantage of in 2013. Betclic will maintain its program of investment in technology and innovation, focusing on major regulated markets to sustain profitable business growth.
