Trading Update

Pittards Plc ("Pittards" or "the Company"), the specialist producer of technically advanced leather and luxury leather goods for sale to retailers, manufacturers and distributors, is pleased to provide an update on current trading prior to entering a close period leading up to the announcement of its results for the financial year ended 31 December 2012. 

Trading was broadly in line with market expectations for the year as a whole. Our strategy to move more finished leather production to Ethiopia has gone well with key customers very satisfied with quality.  Although we experienced high skin prices in the first half of 2012 this pressure has now eased somewhat and we enter 2013 with a sound order book.

The Company expects to announce its preliminary results in the week commencing 18 March 2013.
