Pittards plc (the Company) was advised today, Wednesday 14 March 2001, by
Grainton Ltd that on Monday 12 March 2001, they acquired a further 525,000 25
pence shares in the Company, giving a total holding of 4,305,000 ordinary
shares which represents 19.75% of the issued ordinary share capital.
