Pittards plc (the Company) was advised today by Mr JWW Pittard, Director, that
he sold 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company yesterday afternoon, Wednesday
22 September 1999, at 45 pence. His holding, beneficial and non-beneficial,
is now 1,229,893 ordinary shares representing 5.64% of issued share capital.
