Pittards Plc, producers of technically advanced leather for many of the world's
leading brands of gloves, shoes, luxury leathergoods and sports equipment,
announces that it has been informed of the following share purchases by
directors of the Company at a price of 4.25p today, 30 June 2006.

Stephen Boyd is executive chairman and Reg Hankey and Jill Williams are
executive directors of the Company.


The Company has also been notified that the trustees of the pension scheme have
today sold 1,765,000 shares in the Company following which the trustees retain
an interest in 39,537,399 shares representing approximately 17.71 per cent. of
the issued share capital.
