On 7 January 2002 Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Board of 
Pendragon that as a result of transaction on 4 January 2002 it had reduced its 
shareholding by 160,000 to 3,520,945 ordinary shares of 25 pence, representing 
5.94% of Pendragon's issued capital.
