On 25th September 2001 HSBC Global Custody Nominees Limited notified the Board 
of Pendragon that as result of a transaction on 21st September 2001 it holds a 
notifiable interest in the ordinary shares of Pendragon, namely 1,815,101 shares
representing 3.026% of the total issued share capital of Pendragon.
