PENDRAGON PLC ('PENDRAGON')
On 5 September 2000 Prudential plc notified the Board of Pendragon that as a
result of recent transactions its total beneficial interest in the ordinary
shares of Pendragon had decreased to 4,033,905 shares, representing 6.61% of the
total issued share capital of Pendragon.
