                               ANNOUNCEMENT

                         PENDRAGON PLC ('Pendragon')


Further to the Announcement (Number 380) announced on 13 June 2003 with
reference to an application to the UK Listing Authority ('the UKLA') and the
London Stock Exchange Limited ('the Exchange') for the admission to listing and
trading on the Exchange of 500,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the
capital of Pendragon ('shares').  These shares are to be added to the Block
Listing and to be used for the Pendragon 1998 Sharesave Scheme.
