Appointment and Resignation of Non Executive Director


ING UK Real Estate Income Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Tjeerd
Borstlap to the board as a non executive director with immediate effect.


The appointment of Tjeerd follows the resignation of David Blight, Chief
Executive Officer of ING Real Estate Investment Management, who has recently
been promoted to an additional role as Vice Chairman of the ING Real Estate
Management Board.


Tjeerd Borstlap (aged 52) is currently Chief Financial Officer at ING Real
Estate Investment Management and is a certified public accountant. He has worked
for ING Real Estate Investment Management ('ING REIM') for over three years
where he is responsible for Finance, IT, Risk & Compliance. Prior to joining ING
REIM, Tjeerd fulfilled various senior financial management positions within the
ING Group.


Mr Borstlap is currently on the Board of ING Real Estate Investment Management
and the Supervisory Board of ING REIM Group (UK) Ltd. He is also on the Board of
ING Real Estate Canada Trust and previously was a board member of Rodamco Asia
REIT.


As of the date of this announcement Tjeerd has no interest in the shares of the 
ING UK Real Estate Income Trust.


No further details remain to be disclosed as required under chapter 9.6.13 of
the Listing Rules.
